In spring of 2005 in London, UK, a mission to unite the world in love and passion sprouted in the hopeful and dedicated heart of Alyssa Key. This launched Love Brigade Clothing, Inc.
From there, the high-end streetwear meets ready-to-wear brand was transplanted to New York City in 2006 by way of the group of vivacious and boldly creative friends. Love Brigade vigorously thrived in the fashion capital, and was soon carried in many notable stores across the US, Japan, Canada, the UK, and online, alongside two self-branded stores in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The label rapidly gained notoriety through a steady flow of world-wide press from major publications and TV stations (Elle, WWD, Nylon, Paper, NY Times, MTV, Travel Channel, and more). From 2006-2012, Love Brigade had respectfully established itself as a powerful force in its quest, but something was missing… the heart of the company was still unsettled. So the brand marched out of NYC to take a much needed sabbatical, to understand and appreciate the impact and potential Love Brigade possesses.
Now just nine years since the compelling clothing brand first settled their edgy roots in the big city, Love Brigade is proclaiming their brand revival with a monumental relaunch approaching in Summer, 2015. Love Brigade has always focused their identity in showcasing social positivity through street-forward style for men and women, but now they have gained the perspective to globalize their mission and take it to the doorstep of every seeking individual. To this day, the mission to unite the world in love and passion has not ceased to radiate in the hopeful and dedicated heart of owner, Alyssa Key.
Though in lieu of the brand’s current outlook, Love Brigade will focus solely on online efforts to generate a broader audience, with no set plans of resurrecting their retail chain. However, the brand will continue to make many headlines and maintain their covetable style perspective, but now at a more moderate price point, because Love Brigade isn’t just a brand that fans can stand behind; Love Brigade is a mission that the world can stand with.
